The White Ring
A legend of 50 years.
The legendary ski circuit in Lech Zürs am Arlberg
A unique pleasure for ski enthusiasts: top-class winter sports.
Der Weisse Ring (“The White Ring”) is the designation for the connection between the slopes in Lech and those in Zürs, Zug and Oberlech. Along this famed ski circuit, skiers experience 22 kilometres of slopes and no less than 5,500 metres of altitude difference. This sporting challenge, sure to get pulses racing, is faced every year by top skiers during the already legendary “Weisse-Ring-Race”.
The track record for the “world’s longest ski circuit” is still held by former Word Cup ski racer Patrick Ortlieb with his best time of 44:35:07 minutes.
